Dr. Cromartie started with Cancer Centers of North Carolina in 2005 after serving as a hospitalist at Rex Hospital. Previously, Dr. Cromartie was partner and lead hematology and oncology physician with the Carolina Permanente Medical Group in Raleigh, where he served on its board of directors. He is a former medical director of Hospice of Wake County and has practiced medicine for 24 years. Dr. Cromartie has a special interest in diseases of blood coagulation including both excess bleeding and excess thrombosis.
