Dr. Meredith achieved the rank of Associate Professor otolaryngology head and neck surgery with tenure at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was involved in training residents in head and neck surgery. For seven years he served as Director of ENT – Head and neck surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and head and neck trauma surgery at WakeMed in Raleigh , North Carolina.

In addition to being the author of numerous peer reviewed publications, Dr. Meredith has served as Chairman of the National Home Study Committee for continuing medical education, committee member for the American Board of Otolaryngology, and was recently invited to serve as an oral board examiner for the American Board of Otolaryngology.
